Community & CSR Our commitment to community goes way beyond the soundbites. It’s important to us as a firm, to our staff as individuals (87% think it’s an important business concern for us) and to our clients. It also reflects our values of integrity, professionalism and friendliness.
We aim to manage our impact as a firm responsibly and proactively, and we don’t rest on our laurels. Below is a snapshot of some of the projects that fall into our focus on CSR, but there are many that we simply can’t squeeze into this section. So, if you’d like to know more about this area of our business, please have a look at the culture and values section elsewhere on this site or contact Lynn Levy who is responsible for driving CSR forward.
Following a staff vote, our official partnership charity is Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust. The trust exists to find a cure for childhood and adult Brain Tumours through funding research and to offer support, hope and information to patients and their carers. The Charity has become the largest brain tumour support charity and single funder of laboratory based brain tumour research in the United Kingdom.
Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust receive the majority of our charitable donations, although we do support a range of other worthy causes. Many of our staff have their own favourite charities and take on incredible challenges to raise money for them. So too our clients. Wherever we can, we look to provide support for these initiatives, whether via our own participation or our match giving programme.
Our support also takes other forms. We’re an active member of Business in the Community and through them have been involved in a number of initiatives. We also encourage and support our staff in providing their expertise, advice, time and mentoring to a range of voluntary and not-for-profit groups.
