Chris is a partner in our residential team and specialises in advising on statutory and capital valuations of central London residential properties, particularly in the field of Leasehold Enfranchisement. As a planning and development surveyor he also provides planning advice to several house builders on matters including planning applications and appeals for sites located in the South East and East Anglia. He has thirteen years of experience at Gerald Eve since joining the firm in 1997.
Specific experience
Current work focuses primarily on providing valuation advice to private clients and three major central London estates relating to matters under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 (as amended) and the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 (as amended) and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, including negotiations and the preparation of proofs of evidence for hearings at the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal and Lands Tribunal.
His expert witness expertise includes presentation of evidence before the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal, the Lands Tribunal and County Court.
Advising on market transactions for headlease extensions and freehold disposals including advising on planning and development issues.
Undertaking and assisting in the valuation of flats and houses for inclusion within the portfolio asset valuation of a major central London estate.
