Hilary is a partner in our Birmingham office. She has more than 20 years’ experience of local property tax matters and has in-depth experience of dealing with rating liabilities across the South East.

Specific experience
Appeals relating to the assessment of office premises in the 2005 Rating List across the South East – including large head office premises in a variety of locations such as BG Group, securing savings in the order of £2m

Dealing with issues such as temporary allowances, liability and payment matters and empty rate mitigation advice, as well as dealing with matters relating to the level of rateable value

Clients include Prudential Property Investment Managers, Daily Mail and General Holdings, BP International and SunGard Availability Services (UK) Ltd
