Specific experience
The former transport depot at Rainsford Road, Park Royal – acted on behalf of Diageo in a selective marketing campaign, negotiations and the successful sale of this 5.29 acre site to Canmoor and Standard Life; Gerald Eve have been appointed by the purchasers as joint marketing agents for a two unit, 160,000 sq ft scheme to be called Thunder & Lightning, which will be developed on a speculative basis
Wells and Young’s, Bedford – the acquisition of a 130,000 sq ft warehouse on a freehold design and build basis on G Park, Bedford from Gazeley; we negotiated a full package of environmental improvements including grey water harvesting and motion light sensors
Whitbread House, Luton – sale of a 55,000 sq ft freehold office building with 1.0 acre development site on behalf of Whitbread Group to Belgrave Land and as marketing agents sold the building to Harson Investments
Accident Exchange – acquisition of 35,000 sq ft accommodation on Optima Park, Crayford
Redstone Converged Solutions – acquisition of 28,000 sq ft high quality warehouse on Centennial Park, Elstree for this telecommunications company
FiReControl – acquisition through government procurement procedures of eight fire and rescue control buildings nationwide on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister; all eight buildings were acquired on a leasehold design and build basis and all had a BREEAM, ‘excellent’ rating
Blythe Valley Park Solihull – acted on behalf of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to include the identification of suitable development parties and securing a development agreement with a joint venture made up of ProLogis and British Land with Blythe Valley Park as well as acting as joint marketing agents on this 100 acre high quality office scheme
Central Park Rugby – acted on behalf of Grosvenor and Wilson Bowden on this 100 acre industrial/warehouse scheme – some of the transactions attracted were for GAP (680,000 sq ft warehouse), Dana International (45,000 sq ft), Aldi (3 acres) and Morgan Advanced Ceramics (60,000 sq ft)
Samsung Site, Tolworth, South West London – acquired part vacant part income producing site along the A3 in Tolworth, sold front vacant part to Big Yellow for a self-storage operation, remainder retained by Chancerygate
Oldfield Lane Hampton South West London – purchase of site on behalf of Chancerygate and pre-let agreement with site’s original owner for a 88,000 sq ft industrial building and development of a smaller industrial/warehouse scheme on remaining land
