Mike is managing partner in our Leeds office and has responsibility for rating within the regional business. He has wide experience in rating and general valuation work throughout the UK, particularly within the retail, banking and office sectors, having spent nine years in the Valuation Office and the following 25 years in private practice with Gerald Eve.
Specific experience
Managing, co-ordinating and reporting of rating work on large portfolios of various UK based groups primarily within the retail sectors. The portfolios concerned also include office property, headquarters buildings, light industrial units and cash and carry warehouses
Specifically involved in appeals to the Lands Tribunal in respect of two major headquarters buildings in the North of England
Valuation of the land and buildings of several UK based international groups
Valuation for asset purposes of major UK based companies on various types of property including warehousing, light and heavy industrial
Valuation of large contaminated sites suitable for redevelopment
Acquisition and valuation of petrol filling stations for independent group in the North East of England
