Roland is a consultant in our Cardiff office and has considerable experience advising clients on various aspects for rating, capital and rental purposes.
He is a co-ordinator for the Rating Surveyors Association, South Wales and chairman for Cardiff, and has been the South Wales co-ordinator for the British Retail Consortium for the last three rating revaluations.

Negotiated rating apeals in respect of retail, industrial, commercial and leisure properties in connection with five rating revaluations
Appeared at valuation tribunals and dealt with subsequent Lands Tribunals Appeals in respect of variety stores, large food stores and large industrial properties

Rental valuations for rent reviews and negotiated rent and other terms for new leases: expert witness in county court on landlord and tenant issues
Acquired land for a number of publically funded trunk road schemes
Giving strategic advice on compulsory purchase and compensation in respect of a large industrial complex for a major plc where land is being acquired for a trunk road scheme
Advising occupiers on claims for compensation following the compulsory acquisition of a variety of properties including a radio station
Lectured on compulsory acquisition and compensation at Polytechnic of Wales - now the University of Glamorgan
