Sally is a partner and head of industrial research at Gerald Eve. She specialises in industrial and logistics commercial property research.
Sally is responsible for the Gerald Eve industrial property research team, including production of the suite of Prime Logistics research reports – the definitive guide to the UK’s distribution property market, including analysis and commentary of property market dynamics for the UK’s 24 key logistics markets. She is also responsible for Gerald Eve’s Multi-Let research – an in-depth analysis of the profile and performance of multi-let industrial estates in the UK including analysis of what drives performance in this sector.
Sally is experienced in managing both market research projects and bespoke research consultancy, including detailed market dynamics research and analysis of and response to government policy and strategy. Examples of some client projects include:
- strategic employment sites assessment for PruPIM Real Estate Investment Management
- employment land review for PruPIM Real Estate Investment Management as part of the company’s response to Chelmsford Borough Council’s draft Core Strategy
- employment land review for JG Ipswich as part of a planning application on a 52 acre site in Babergh district, Suffolk
- analysis for ProLogis on internet retailing and how the sector impacts on distribution strategies and property markets
Sally has also presented at industry conferences such as Shed Show (2007 and 2008) and the Logistics Consultants Forum (November 2008) and at client-sponsored events.
Sally joined Gerald Eve in January 2005 after spending two and half years at DTZ where she specialised in occupier research, with specific focus on logistics and industrial property. Prior to that, she was an analyst at investment bank Goldman Sachs, working in corporate and sectoral research. She has experience of working with many different types of clients, including investors, occupiers, public sector and internal clients.
