Sven is a partner based in our Glasgow office and is responsible for our agency team in Scotland. He specialises in all types of agency and development work identifying opportunities for various property types including commercial, industrial and land. This has involved complex transactions, disposals, acquisitions and planning investigations. His work over the last ten years has included instructions throughout Scotland and in the north of England with the main concentration in central Scotland.
Specific experience
Valuation, sale and disposal of residential and commercial development sites in Lanarkshire, Dumfries and Galloway, Lothian, Aberdeenshire, Dumbartonshire and Stirlingshire. Acquisition of properties for commercial development including identification, negotiation on purchase, advice on legal issues followed by subsequent advice on redevelopment and letting of the new build premises.
He has carried out numerous property acquisitions and disposals for leasehold and freehold interests for office, retail, industrial, hotel and development properties throughout Scotland.
Sven has acted and continues to act on behalf of a number of major plcs, local companies, local authorities, NHS trusts, former Government departments and is currently carrying out disposal work on behalf of the Scottish Executive. Some of his existing clients include Whitbread, Travis Perkins, Tarmac, Shanks, Brakes, SCOT Sheridan, Sunrise, Bond Helicopters, Chivas and BP. His contacts and in-depth knowledge of all sectors allow Sven to provide sound advice with the aim of always providing best value to suit our client’s needs.
