Warren’s core goal as ICT director at Gerald Eve is to invest the firm’s ICT expenditure. His ability to articulate a vision of ICT’s capabilities and application to the business is essential to the firm’s success in making innovative use of current and new technology and systems. Warren shapes the firm’s ICT strategy to deal with the issues ahead, providing a robust ICT architecture, future proofing the firm’s software developments and raising the expectations of partners and clients.
Since his appointment as ICT director in 2003, his team of 14 ICT/IS specialists and developers have delivered tangible and practical results – such as voice over IP in 2003, bespoke rating software for the 2005 List and one-to-one or group training to ensure all staff receive the full value of the firm’s ICT investment. These are just a few of the most visible results of his persuasive approach to ICT strategy. His next challenge is to ensure the firm fulfils the requirements of good ICT governance - ranging from freedom of information and data protection to ICT security and identity.
