Client: Lincoln Estates, Bond Street
Gerald Eve LLP were instructed to advise Lincoln Estates on the development of 135-137 New Bond Street, W1, which is located in the Heart of Westminster’s International Shopping District is a Grade II listed building and is also situated within the Mayfair Conservation Area.
The objective of the instruction was to create high quality new retail (Class A1) and office (Class B1) accommodation, which would be attractive to prestigious international retailers. This required significant remodelling of the existing listed building including a substantial amount of demolition.
Gerald Eve LLP worked closely with the client and authorities including Westminster City Council and English Heritage to negotiate a scheme, which successfully married the client’s objectives for increased flexibility and viability in accommodation with key relevant heritage considerations.
Planning permission and listed building consent were granted and Gerald Eve LLP continue to advise on matters of detail.
