Client: Scottish Widows, New Bond Street, Mayfair
Planning permission, listed building and conservation area consent were granted by the City of Westminster for the demolition of 49-50 New Bond Street and the erection of a new flagship retail and office building, the refurbishment and integration of the grade II listed building at 47-48 New Bond Street, and the retention, refurbishment and change of use of 52-58 Maddox Street.
The redevelopment of the site provided an exciting opportunity for Scottish Widows to create a mixed-use development of the highest architectural quality in this prominent location. The site is situated on the corner of New Bond Street and Maddox Street in the heart of the Mayfair Conservation Area and the West End International Centre’s Primary Shopping Frontage.
The scheme was designed by Eric Parry Architects and is now under construction.
