Gerald Eve LLP was instructed by Workspace Glebe, a leading provider of flexible business space (to let) for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in and around London to provide strategic planning advice in respect of the redevelopment of the site.

Gerald Eve LLP led extensive planning negotiations with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the Greater London Authority and other stakeholders including TfL, Thames Water and Design for London over a period of 18 months. A planning application for up to 6,220 sq m of Use Class B1, 490 sq m of flexible Use Class A1/A2/A3/A5 and up to 46,844 sq m of residential floorspace was submitted and discussions are on-going.

This incorporated a detailed planning assessment prepared by Gerald Eve LLP which accompanied the planning application and supporting documentation, setting out the justification for the proposed development in this highly accessible location.
