Client: North West London NHS Trust

The North West London NHS Trust instructed Gerald Eve to provide advice on the disposal of two sites adjacent to the new PFI funded Central Middlesex Hospital.

A 1.25 acre site to the rear of the property fronting Central Way was sold to Network Housing for a 100% key worker affordable housing scheme. The consented development proposals for the site provides for 145 one, two and three bedroom apartments with 78 underground car parking spaces.

A 1.5 acre site located to the front of the hospital’s main entrance was sold to Montpelier Estates for a mixed use development. The consented development proposals for the site provide for three linked buildings offering a range of uses including retail, C2 care home, assisted living and a C2A secure care facility.

The land sales achieved over £5 million on an unconditional basis.

We are providing further advice to the Trust on its estate including the letting of the former Brent Birthing Centre.
