Client: Christ's College - Cambridgeshire
Our building consultancy team were recently appointed by a well-known college in Cambridgeshire to inspect the various buildings on the college campus to allow it to update its building insurance.
Many of the properties on site were of historic significance - the chapel and library, for instance, were Grade I listed. This would ordinarily make identifying comparable properties for Reinstatement Cost Assessment very difficult, but our database of colleges in the county enabled us to access the information quickly and efficiently.
We calculated the total policy value at approximately £82 million.
