Client: Pizza Express


Our corporate property management team is helping Pizza Express to better manage its restaurants portfolio.

'Information is power' is an old adage, and for companies with large portfolios, it is fast becoming a true competitive advantage.

Yet many corporates have not put property information management procedures into place. Pizza Express was an example. With a portfolio of over 350 properties, it did not have a central database in which to hold full details of its property portfolio. It did not have easy access to or reporting capabilities of its full lease obligations.

The solution
We introduced our property management database, Retrieve®. Following a deeds audit of its entire estate, information for each property was systematically collated and uploaded into Retrieve®

Results
As a result, Pizza Express’ management team now have important property information on the whole portfolio at their fingertips. They have reporting capabilities to help them accurately budget ahead for their property costs and manage risks associated with their portfolio.

The added value is that they are able to plan for forthcoming lease expiries, break clauses and rent reviews so there are no surprises and can easily check the terms of their leases to ensure the whole estate is managed effectively. We update their data and provide web-enabled access to allow Pizza Express immediate access to their portfolio details.
