Client: ProLogis - Midpoint Park, Birmingham


ProLogis is a global provider of distribution warehousing, owning or managing over 2,500 warehouses across the world. Over the last 24 months, Gerald Eve has advised ProLogis on over five site acquisitions and disposals in key distribution locations across the UK totalling over 500 acres (200 ha) of B8 distribution land.

One of the key sites on which we are currently advising ProLogis is Phase II of Midpoint Park in Birmingham. A 65-acre (1.25 million sq ft, 135,000 sq m) site acquired as part of the Severn Trent Property Company. ProLogis is now on site constructing two speculative warehouses totalling 548,000 sq ft (5,000 sq m). During the run up to starting on site, Gerald Eve advised ProLogis on the appropriate size of buildings based on market demand. Full marketing of the scheme has now commenced.
