Our professional services team provided landlord and tenant advice and negotiated the rent review on Royal Mail's behalf.
The landlord’s agent triggered the rent review in July 2006 and we reached agreement early October reducing the proposed rent by 7.5%, saving Royal Mail £65,000. The rental increase was as low as 2% over the 5-year review period despite the Birmingham industrial market continuing to demand increasing rental levels.
