The landlord’s agent triggered the rent review at the end of July and we arrived at a swift and amicable agreement that devalues to £12.12 per sq ft by early September. We were able to reduce the proposed rent by 9% and our negotiations have saved RSM Bentley Jennison £36,250 over the forthcoming review period. The rental increase shows a nominal percentage over the last five years, despite Nottingham’s office market continuing to demand increasing rental levels.
