Whitbread Plc has announced a rare opportunity to acquire a cold storage facility close to the M4 in Reading, Berkshire.
The unit at Acre Road, close to junction 11 of the M4, provides 99,240 sq ft on a 4.5-acre site and is available to let on flexible lease terms via agents Colliers CRE and Gerald Eve. The unit will become available in October this year.
David Moule of Gerald Eve’s business space agency team says: “Given the lack of modern, temperature-controlled distribution facilities currently available in the M4 corridor, we expect a good level of occupier demand from either the third-party logistics market or the food and drink sector. The unit has the added advantage of providing a full range of ambient, chilled and cold store space, all within one building.”
