I am a Partner based in our West End office with 20 years’ experience advising charities on all aspects of property transactions. I have particular expertise in advising religious orders, diocese and education charities nationwide.

I am a member of the Charities’ Property Association and a Qualified Surveyor for the purposes of The Charites Act 2011.

My in-depth understanding of charities requirements enables me to provide innovative solutions to challenges posed by charities, in order to ensure that your charitable objectives are met.

I advise charities on estate strategy, valuation, purchase and disposal advice on a wide range of institutional and ecclesiastical properties, including schools, care homes, convents and church property.

I am an RICS Registered Valuer and provide clients with Designated Adviser’s Reports in respect of disposals of freehold and leasehold interests of charity property for valuation and marketing purposes, in compliance with The Charities Act 2011.

I act on behalf of a large number of charity clients and regularly advise charities on disposals of interests in properties, from entire portfolios, to one-off properties and residential premises, supporting you to make sound strategic decisions, whilst ensuring that the best terms possible are achieved.

I have advised numerous charities on re-provision developments of existing properties funded through residential-led development schemes, creating new purpose-built facilities for charities, wholly funded by residential development.

I often speak as an expert on charity property issues at conferences, seminars and webinars.
