Almacantar and Frogmore, advised by Gerald Eve, have secured planning permission from Camden Council for its £350m Centre Point development.

The approved scheme will see the complete regeneration of Centre Point Tower, the Centre Point Link Bridge and Centre Point House, creating 82 residential apartments alongside shops, restaurants and improvements to the buildings. Work is scheduled to complete in 2016.

Hugh Bullock, senior partner and head of planning and development at Gerald Eve, said: “Centre Point is absolutely key to the regeneration of the Tottenham Court Road area and the planning committee’s decision to give the green light to the proposals reflects the importance of the scheme.”

Mike Hussey, chief executive of Almacantar, added: “With Crossrail’s arrival, there is growing impetus behind the drive to revitalise this part of London and Centre Point has to be at the forefront of that.”
