Gerald Eve Acquires Fourth Croydon Building For Criterion Capital

Prominent London investor Criterion Capital, advised by Gerald Eve, has acquired its fourth building for office-to-residential conversion.

Asif Aziz‘s Criterion Capital has just purchased the 56,816 sq ft 5 Bedford Park in Central Croydon, with vacant possession from F&C REIT Asset Management.

This follows Criterion’s recent acquisition of the 370,000 sq ft Delta Point building, which is earmarked for conversion to 354 new homes and sits alongside 347 units that have already been delivered this year in Deptford, Slough and Piccadilly.

The acquisition of 5 Bedford Park forms part of a growing pipeline of PRS schemes to be delivered principally in London, aligning with the Mayor of London’s policy to deliver new low cost private rental housing to alleviate the housing crisis and participate in the regeneration of run down areas
