Gerald Eve Advises GPE On “Flawless” Plans For Oxford Street Mixed-Use Scheme
Great Portland Estates, advised by Gerald Eve, has secured planning permission from Westminster City Council for the demolition and redevelopment of 69-89 Oxford Street and 1 Dean Street, W1.
The permission is for a seven-storey property with 38,901 sq ft of retail on ground, basement and floor one, and 82,764 sq ft of grade-A offices.
Estates Gazette Interactive reported that Westminster planning committee chairman Alastair Moss described the application as “flawless.”
Existing retail space is increased by 28,600 sq ft and office space by 2,895 sq ft in the Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands-designed scheme.
In a related development, GPE will provide off-site residential space in townhouses at 48-50 Broadwick Street.
