Purchase part of £100m UK regional offices investment programme
Maya Capital, advised by Gerald Eve, has purchased a Swansea office building as part of a programme to invest £100 million of equity in UK regional office property.
The 66,800 sq ft building, which is entirely let to the DVLA until 2019, was purchased for £6 million at a net initial yield of 10%.
Maya Capital has reached an agreement with a major institutional investor to deploy £100 million of equity in office buildings in the UK’s regional cities over the course of 2015. In addition to the Swansea acquisition, two further transactions are under offer for a combined £24 million.
