Gerald Eve has expanded its transactional services with the acquisition of four key teams from Deloitte Real Estate. The deal will see Deloitte’s West End leasing, City leasing, lease advisory and lease exit teams transfer across to Gerald Eve with effect from 1st June 2016.
A total of 20 people will join Gerald Eve, including Stephen Peers (West End leasing), Steve Johns (City leasing), Mike McChesney (lease exit) and Tony Guthrie (lease advisory).
The arrival of these teams, in addition to on-going recruitment plans, will see Gerald Eve’s total headcount reach 450 this year.
Simon Prichard, Gerald Eve’s senior partner, said: “This is a significant deal for Gerald Eve and is a clear demonstration of the scale of our ambition. We believe that we offer a real point of difference in the marketplace and enhancing our transactional capabilities will serve to reinforce this”.
