Latest of four new partners underlines ongoing investment in 25-strong team
Gerald Eve has continued its investment in regional expertise with the appointment of a new partner in Manchester, part of a recruitment drive that has seen the office grow to 25 people.
Colin Harrop joins the firm as a building consultancy partner, working closely with the national team to lead and develop Gerald Eve’s offer in the north of England. Formerly at JLL, Colin has expertise across a diverse range of disciplines and has previously been both a chairman of the Yorkshire & Humber Region of the RICS and a member of the RICS International Governing Council.
Colin is the fourth recent partner appointment at Gerald Eve’s Manchester office, following the recruitment of Mark Walsh as head of the office and the arrivals in January of David Law and Jason Print as valuation and industrial agency partners respectively.
Mark Walsh, partner and head of Gerald Eve’s Manchester office, said: “Colin’s arrival enables the development of Gerald Eve’s building consultancy team and is part of a quartet of senior Manchester hires that show just how important the firm considers investment in its regional capabilities to be.
“Together, the quartet bring a wealth of experience in their respective disciplines and represent a significant strengthening of what is an already excellent Manchester team, offering clients an even better and more comprehensive level of advice and service.”
Gerald Eve’s 25-strong Manchester office forms part of a regional network alongside presences in Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Leeds and Milton Keynes in addition to offices in The City and West End of London.
