Gerald Eve names ‘Healthiest New Entrant’

Vitality Britain's Healthiest Workplace Survey

Gerald Eve has been named ‘Healthiest New Entrant’ in the medium-sized category in the 2018 Vitality Britain’s Healthiest Workplace survey.

The survey uses a broad set of questions covering lifestyle, clinical and mental health, work engagement and productivity – and an in-depth assessment of the health and wellbeing interventions offered by employers – to identify the country’s healthiest workplaces.

Established by health insurance provider Vitality in 2013, Britain’s Healthiest Workplace partners with the University of Cambridge, RAND Europe and the Financial Times to study the link between modifiable health risks and short-term productivity – currently costing the UK economy an estimated £77.5 billion. Since its inception, over 370 companies and 127,000 employees have participated in the survey.

Sarah Draper, HR director at Gerald Eve, said: “Workplace health and wellbeing is an area that Gerald Eve has focused on for some time, and the initiatives we have put in place have undoubtedly been beneficial to both our people and clients. While there is always more that can be done, this accolade shows what can be achieved when employee wellbeing is prioritised by a firm, and reflects the strides that have been made in this area.”

The accolades were presented at a ceremony at BAFTA in central London on Wednesday 16th January. For more information about the survey, please visit www.vitality.co.uk/business/healthiest-workplace.
