I’m a Chartered Town Planner, and Associate, in Gerald Eve’s Planning and Development team based in the West End. I specialise in planning applications and development control work for a wide range of clients. I take the lead in coordinating the preparation and submission of applications in respect of a range of mixed use, commercial and residential-led development schemes.

I am currently working on projects ranging from management of existing assets, including changes of use and alterations and extensions, through to delivery of major new strategic mixed-use redevelopment and regeneration proposals. The schemes I am currently involved in are both in central London as well as within the outer London boroughs.

My clients include: Berkeley Group, Landsec, Astrea Asset Management, Sellar Properties , CO-RE, Lab Tech, Brockton Capital.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

  • Warwick Road Masterplan – We were appointed by St Edward Homes to provide planning advice in relation to four masterplan strategic sites located on Warwick Road in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, obtaining planning permission for three out of the four sites. I have worked on the masterplan sites since 2013, on post planning optimisation matters. The four sites will provide in excess of 1,000 homes, including affordable homes, a new one form entry primary school, a linear park and retail uses.
  • The Post Building (21-31 New Oxford Street) – I was part of the team that advised Brockton Capital in securing planning permission for the partial demolition and redevelopment of the former Royal Mail sorting office at 21-31 New Oxford Street. The scheme, which is nearing completion, provides 35,000sqm of office space, 21 affordable homes, retail and a public roof terrace, as well as over £10m in s106 contributions. I continue to be involved in post planning matters and scheme amendments to secure high profile tenants for the building.
  • Ropemaker – I worked alongside CO-RE, advising Old Park Lane Management, to secure planning permission for the redevelopment of 20 Ropemaker Street. Planning permission was granted for a 27-storey office led development in close proximity to the City of London. The scheme provided 45,000sqm of new office accommodation and we managed to negotiate a payment in lieu of housing. The scheme provides affordable workspace and flexible retail uses at ground floor level. We continue to be instructed on post planning matters.
