Lee & Associates, Gerald Eve’s North American alliance partner, has been placed second in the 2016 US brokerage rankings, compiled by Commercial Property Executive / Multi Housing News. The 2016 ranking represents a significant jump from 2015, when the firm was placed 11th.
According to the publication, the ranking is a weighted formula based on a variety of factors overall – including firm performance in 2015 and over a longer timescale – as well as more specific elements such as investment sales, leasing activity and multi-year growth.
The jump in performance of Lee & Associates is mirrored by the recent growth of Gerald Eve following the acquisition of 36 new members of staff, many of which have a transactional focus, including: capital markets, West End and City office leasing, lease consultancy, and lease exit.
In addition, Gerald Eve’s associated office in Belgium, Hugo Ceusters, has been ranked by Expertise News as number two in national office agency and number one in the Antwerp office market by the number of transactions.
Suzann Silverman, editor of Commercial Property Executive / Multi-Housing News, said: “Lee & Associates has been on a fast growth track, and it showed in how high it placed in this year’s CPE Top Brokerage Firms ranking. Our evaluation considers consistent growth over a three-year period, among other factors.”
Jeffrey Rinkov, CEO of Lee & Associates, added: “We view this as an acknowledgment of our growing international platform and we look forward to continued growth and success, supported by best of class client services, executed by an incredibly talented group of brokers.”
Simon Prichard, senior partner at Gerald Eve, said: “This is clearly a great achievement for Lee & Associates and is a testament to the expertise of its employees and their market-leading approach. When seeking international associates we are always looking for best-in-class operators, and this ranking more than demonstrates the abilities that Lee & Associates brings to the table.”
