As the UK market enters its second phase of recovery, the hunt for rental growth is on – and central London offices will lead the way.
Commercial property was booming in the U.K. in 2014. According to data from MSCI, all property total returns across the country averaged 18 percent. The performance of central London offi ce property was even stronger, with both the city and Westend office markets recording returns of just less than 25 percent. The investment market bounced back strongly and there were signifi cant levels of yield compression and capital value growth across all central London office markets.
