Everyone at Gerald Eve Eve is profoundly shocked and saddened by the recent untimely death of one of our surveyors, Peter Westropp. Our thoughts and condolences are offered to both his family and friends.
Peter, 27, was killed in a tragic accident last month when he was struck by falling masonry whilst sitting outside a Battersea restaurant.
Peter joined Gerald Eve in 2007, having graduated from Oxford Brookes with an MSc in Real Estate Management. He qualified MRICS in 2009. Since then he had worked in our west end based leisure department and more recently moved to the firm’s city office where he was involved in lease consultancy and agency instructions, working closely with clients such as the Daily Mail General Trust and Canada Life.
His keen sense of humour and appetite for life made him an extremely popular member of the Gerald Eve team. Peter’s diligence and commitment were highly valued by both clients and colleagues.
At Peter’s funeral on the 19th August held in Bromley, people were standing in the aisles to hear the many tributes to him both sad and humerous. It was a great testament to him and a celebration of his life.
Peter had a very bright future at Gerald Eve. He will be sorely missed by all his friends, clients and everyone that knew him throughout the firm.
