Natalie is a Chartered Town Planner and an Associate in our Planning & Development team. She provides both strategic planning and property specific advice on complex mixed use, regeneration and residential schemes in central London. Her clients include leading mixed use commercial and residential developers, estates, institutions, investors and private clients. Natalie has considerable experience advising on and managing the full planning application process, working with large, multi-disciplinary teams on long term complex projects to achieve client objectives. She manages engagement with the development plan process for her clients and has experience of appeal and inquiry work.
Natalie has particular expertise in working with heritage assets in sensitive central London environments for example within the setting of the World Heritage Site, adaptation of Grade I and II* listed buildings and demolition in conservation areas.
Mixed use – complex redevelopment throughout London with issues including tall buildings, infrastructure, community uses, temporary residential use, private members’ club and EIA. For Land Securities (including Nova, Victoria), Capco, Legal & General, Mitsubishi Estates Company, Blackstone Property Management
Residential and Hotel development – redevelopment and conversions, prime central London, affordable housing, temporary residential e.g. Grosvenor, The British Land Company, Berkeley Urban Renaissance, Nadler Hotels, Z Hotels
Heritage Assets – Somerset House (Grade l); various Belgrave Square (Grades l and II); Royal Academy (Grade ll*); Covent Garden Market Building (Grade II*); Royal Opera House; and schemes for Grosvenor, Capco, Asprey, Standard Life, The Bedford Estates
Retail – major town centre retail redevelopment for Land Securities; retail development for Capco in Covent Garden; change of retail uses throughout the UK; for luxury brands in central London. Clients include BlackRock, Mulberry, Asprey, Caprice Holdings, Fendi, Max Mara.
