Nick is a Partner in our Capital Markets team and currently heads our Industrial & Logistics Investment team, advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of commercial real estate. This includes traditional real estate transactions and development funding. He worked in the Drivers Jonas/Deloitte Investment teams since graduation from the University of Edinburgh in 2002, before joining Gerald Eve in 2016. Nick advises a broad range of clients including private equity, institutions, property companies, syndicates, private investors and Banks in the UK.
He is the Partner lead for one of Gerald Eve’s retained pension fund mandate clients, managing a cross-sector team to source, evaluate, acquire and dispose of real estate assets. Most recently, they acquired a multi-let industrial estate in the West Midlands.
Columbia Threadneedle – managed the sale of the Meteor Portfolio (£52m), and three single industrial and R&D assets at Stone, Goole and Northamptonshire (combined total of £25m).
Lloyds Bank – led the sale of the largest ever single asset student accommodation deal in the UK at Aston Student Village (£227m).
M&G Real Estate – acquisition of two multi-let industrial estates in Leeds and Alton totalling £15m.
Standard Life – acquired the Pearl Portfolio comprising 22 assets across all sectors for £165m. The team has subsequently divested of five of these buildings at a profit.
TIAA Henderson – advised on the sale of the Cyrus Portfolio which comprised of 7 assets for £49m.
CCLA – advised on the acquisition of a variety of industrial assets, both single and multi-let in core UK markets such as Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire and Warrington.
