I’m an Associate in in our Manchester office specialising in providing valuation advice on a wide range of asset types for banks, property companies, solicitors, accountants, funds, charities, developers and high net worth individuals.

Over more than 15 years’ in the business means I have developed a broad depth of knowledge and understanding of valuing/assessing commercial, residential and development properties. As well as loan security, investment and pension valuations, I have in-depth experience of mixed used development and marketing appraisals, most specifically for new home schemes.

I gained specialist knowledge working at Savills and Strutt & Parker and Jackson Stops & Staff, in South Manchester and Cheshire. My experience covers valuing a breadth of residential property from Housing Association portfolios to individual high-end houses. I work closely with our Alternative Markets team and provide vacant values of residential properties for care providers. I also provide valuations of Industrial, Retail and Offices as and when required.

I have advised a diverse variety of public and private sector clients ranging from charitable organisations, private developers, individuals and banks. I’ve given loan security valuation advice for a wide variety of lenders including Aviva, Barclays, Bank of China, Handelsbanken, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, Nationwide, Royal Bank of Scotland and Santander on assets including individual residential properties, residential property portfolios, industrial estates, shopping centres, city centre offices, retail warehouse parks, residential and commercial development sites.

 

MY RECENT PROJECTS

  • I advised on the valuation of a substantial country house in Prestbury for a well known Bank. After providing the valuation I identified that the house required a building survey which was carried out by our team at Gerald Eve.
  • I advised on the valuation of a high value house in Hale for a well known Bank. After providing the valuation I recommended that in order to add value the property required a garage and possible leisure suite, subsequently a planning application for a garage has been made.
  • I advised on the valuation of a block of apartments in North Manchester within the Eruv for purchase purposes for an Investment Bank. As well as identifying Japanese Knotweed and recommending its removal, I also recommended a building survey.
