A selection of our current and past graduates, as well as our Managing and Senior Partners

Lorelle Bascoe

Current role: Associate, Planning & Development

Lorelle joined the Gerald Eve’s graduate scheme in September 2014 and qualified two years later. As part of the rotational graduate scheme, Lorelle worked in the Commercial Valuation, Business Rates, Development and Corporate Property Management teams enabling her to work with numerous people and on a variety of projects. Upon qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor, Lorelle was offered a job in the Planning and Development team where she works on a range of interesting projects for many high profile clients.

“While studying and training for the APC, I was able to attend workshops and presentations both internally and externally to ensure I was fully prepared for the entire process.”

Oliver Chatwin

Current role: Assistant Surveyor, rotating graduate

Oli joined us after completing his MSc in Real Estate at Henley Business School, Reading University. After completing a work experience stint with Gerald Eve in our Offices Agency team in early January 2020, Oli subsequently attended our assessment day and joined the graduate programme in October 2020.  Oli is about to join his third team after completing 5 months with Industrial Lease Consultancy and 6 months with Capital Markets.  Oli has made the most of his sporting interests by setting up GEnergy, a competition across the firm encouraging people to work in teams to accumulate points by walking, running or some other form of exercise; and arranging 5 aside football.

“The experience of working for Gerald Eve has surpassed my expectations. I have thoroughly enjoyed my projects and responsibilities thus far, whilst relishing the sporting and social aspects of the firm.”

Rosanna Cole

Current role:  Planning Consultant, Planning & Development

Rosie joined Gerald Eve in Autumn 2018 as a Planning graduate, having graduated from Reading University earlier that year.  Halfway through her RTPI APC, Rosie decided she would like to become dual-qualified and has since enrolled to complete her RICS APC as well.

“Working as a graduate has given me exposure to a range of projects, including high-profile central London redevelopment schemes. This has provided me with a wide breadth of experience to contribute towards my APC.”

Ellie Crathern

Current role: Assistant Surveyor, rotating graduate

Ellie joined Gerald Eve in October 2020 within the Capital Markets – Industrial team.  Since then, Ellie has rotated into Industrial Lease Consultancy.  Ellie cites her reasons for joining us as really benefiting from meeting Gerald Eve representatives during both a university presentation and at our open evening, giving her the chance to get to know the firm better and how we matched her values and aspirations.

“People are at the heart of the business, and this really shows in the culture at Gerald Eve. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and helpful, and I look forward to coming into the office and seeing colleagues”

Felicia Cunningham

Current role: Surveyor, Leisure

Felicia joined Gerald Eve back in 2016 as a Technical Assistant, having previously completed a bachelor’s degree in Law. Felicia transferred to the graduate scheme in 2018 as a non-cognate applicant and completed her MSc in Real Estate at Kingston University, alongside completing her APC.  Felicia completed four rotations in Leisure, Offices Lease Consultancy, Commercial Valuation and Planning & Development.  Upon qualification, Felicia permanently moved to the Leisure team.

“Gerald Eve is a great place to work because of the people. The office atmosphere is always both friendly and welcoming.”

Carla Jokic

Current role: Surveyor, Industrial & Logistics

Carla is based in our London office within the Industrial Team, specialising in Energy and Infrastructure. Having successfully completed a four year, Degree Level apprenticeship, she became a professional member of the RICS in 2023. Carla gained experience in investment, lease advisory, valuation and strategic consultancy, while working across commercial, industrial, and residential.

“You build your experience and professional relationships from day one, while also earning and achieving a qualification debt-free.”

Jessica Nutt

Current role: Senior Associate, Offices Agency

As a former Gerald Eve graduate herself, Jess knows our graduates are trusted and respected and are vital members of teams from day one.  In Jess’s role as a Agent, she speaks to clients and other agents on the phone on a regular basis, enabling her to develop her communication skills as well as gain a network of contacts in the industry and this makes certain aspects of the job, such as gaining comparable evidence, a lot easier.

“I love working for Gerald Eve and it is mainly to do with the people and the office atmosphere. It is clear that everyone working at Gerald Eve is like-minded and friendly and this makes it worth getting out of bed in the morning.”

Viviana Thurstan

Current role: Assistant Surveyor, rotating graduate

Viviana joined the firm in January 2021 as a non-cognate applicant.  Viv has an undergraduate degree in Politics with Sociology from Loughborough University; she has since gone on to study for her MSc in Real Estate at Kingston University alongside her work at Gerald Eve.  Viv’s first rotation has been spent in Residential Development Valuation and she will soon be joining our Capital Markets team.

“Gerald Eve has a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The work is varied and the four rotations mean that you have a wide range of experience when it comes to sitting your APC.”

Simon has held the role of Senior Partner since 2015, with responsibility for driving the overall strategy and performance of the firm, as well as promoting a more diverse working environment and ensuring our practices remain best in class.
