John is joint head of the Capital Markets UK National Investment team where he runs a team of 25 professionals. He has over 20 years of experience and specialises in real estate capital markets delivering often complex engagements for a blend of high quality clients, and specifically leads on both the industrial and portfolio sector teams. John was previously and equity partner and head of UK National Investment at Deloitte/Drivers Jonas and prior to this ran the Industrial Investment Portfolio at Land Securities plc (£750m GAV). John is also a member of the M&G Surveyors Panel and has an IPF Diploma in Property Investment.

Alecta Portfolio – acquisition of a £350m mixed portfolio comprising 26 properties on behalf of Goldman Sachs.

Mercury Portfolio – sale of a £184m portfolio comprising 24 properties across office, industrial and retail sectors, for TH Real Estate.

Pearl Portfolio – £165m acquisition for Standard Life Investments SLIPIT Fund.

Hollywood & Rainbow Portfolios – £200m sale of two mixed asset portfolios on behalf of Northwood Investors.

Diamond Portfolio – purchase of a £96m retail warehouse portfolio on behalf of Harbert Management Corporation.

Anglia Portfolio – acquisition of 5 care homes via a full forward funding for £26.2m on behalf of Schroders.

Aston Student Village – £227m disposal of a modern, well situated student village with over 3,000 rooms on behalf of Lloyds Banking Group and Deloitte.

Co-Op RDC Fundings at Bristol, Durham & Castleford – acquisitions totalling £90m on behalf of Stoford Development, TH Real Estate and Standard Life respectively.

Farnborough Business Park – £80m acquisition on behalf of Harbert Management Corporation.

West London Industrial Portfolio – £67m on behalf of Standard Life Investments.

Hartlebury Trading Estate, Worcestershire – £46.189m acquisition on behalf of Schroders.

Imperial Place, Borehamwood  – £43m acquisition of a dominant, town centre office campus on behalf of VALAD.

Davidson House, Reading – £42.85m office acquisition on behalf of Schroders.
