I’m a Partner in our Planning and Development department based in our West End office. I have extensive expertise in advising on Affordable Housing and Regeneration. I specialise in providing development advice on a variety of schemes and the delivery of affordable housing, mixed tenure developments and regeneration projects.
I have considerable experience in both developing affordable, rented and sale housing, having worked at a senior level in Registered Providers (RPs) for over five years, delivering in excess of 3,000 new homes.
Clients include LB Southwark, LB Croydon, LB Tower Hamlets, Barratt London, Grosvenor, Landsec, Anthology, The Crown Estate and U+I.
MY RECENT PROJECTS
- Anthology London, Wembley Parade – Wembley Parade is a 195 unit residential scheme comprising 5 buildings, including a 12 storey tower. Gerald Eve advised our client on affordable housing matters through the planning process. We undertook the affordable housing marketing process to select a delivery partner, and were able to maximise the affordable housing contribution by engaging with the Greater London Authority under the Developer-led funding route, being one of the first schemes to access grant through this process.
- Shaviram Developments, Civic Centre, Old Kent Road – Civic Centre is a mixed use scheme comprising 372 residential units, where Gerald Eve provided viability services and affordable housing consultancy agency, as well as producing an Affordable Housing Statement and partnership selection. The scheme achieved resolution to grant planning permission in November 2019 with 35% affordable housing.
- London Local Authority, Affordable Housing Scheme Acquisition – Gerald Eve have been appointed by a London Local Authority to acquire affordable housing units on their behalf. This has involved identifying opportunities, entering into negotiations with developers to agree terms, and supporting our client through the contractual process. We have secured two opportunities to date, totalling 157 units.
