I’m an Associate in our West End Planning and Development team. I provide development advice for a wide range of mixed use and residential development proposals, with a particular focus on London. My experience includes market facing roles; providing development consultancy, valuation and agency advice to a range of private and public sector clients.
I have more than five years’ post qualified experience providing development consultancy on schemes in and around London. My consultancy work includes viability assessments to support planning applications, disposals of development sites, site value assessments, valuations of development land, development appraisals and feasibility studies on behalf of both private and public clients. I’ve also advised developers in respect of the negotiation of S106 and Review Mechanisms with local authorities. The majority of my projects focus on residential (including Build to Rent and emerging sectors such as Co-Living) and commercial (office) developments, and are located in London.
My key clients comprise both public and private sector bodies as well as Registered Providers. Examples of my clients include U + I, Grainger, Mount Anvil, TfL, Westminster City Council and Women’s Pioneer Housing.
MY RECENT PROJECTS
- 227 Wood Lane, London W12 – I advised on the OJEU procurement process for the appointment of a development partner to enable the comprehensive redevelopment of the 227 Wood Lane site. The registered provider client, Women’s Pioneer Housing, owns the freehold of the land. Now the Joint Venture is set up, I provide development management services to the client throughout the pre-planning application and design processes in respect of a Co-Living led scheme of over 300 units.
- Whitechapel Central, London E1 – I advised Mount Anvil on the financial viability in respect of their residential development in Whitechapel. Planning permission was secured in May 2019 for over 600 units including on-site affordable housing. I subsequently advised Mount Anvil in respect of negotiating the S106 and the Review Mechanism with the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
- Seven Sisters, London – I’ve provided supporting evidence in respect of Expert Witness evidence on behalf of Grainger Plc, for the Inquiry into the Compulsory Purchase of the Seven Sisters Market site. This evidence supported the implementation of the compulsory purchase through the presentation of a Viability report and development appraisal, which demonstrated that the proposed scheme was practical, viable and therefore capable of being delivered. The CPO was awarded in 2019.
