Steve is a Partner in our Agency team specialising in the Central London office market. He joined Gerald Eve in 2016 having been Head of City Leasing at Deloitte Real Estate. Prior to DRE he was a Partner at Cushman & Wakefield for 17 years. Steve has a broad range of experience acting for Landlords and Occupiers including marketing, leasing, design development, sales, purchases, occupier acquisitions, lease renewals and restructurings. He has advised on a wide variety of real estate in the City of London, Southbank, Midtown, Shoreditch, Farringdon, Clerkenwell, Canary Wharf, Stratford and Hackney Wick.

Gallagher – Advising on the marketing and subleasing of the 1st floor totalling 34,500 sq ft in The Walbrook Building, EC4 to Vanguard.

Credit Suisse – Advising on the marketing and subleasing of 78,000 sq ft at 5 Canada Sq, Canary Wharf, E14.

Aitch Group – Advising on the marketing and leasing of Bagel Factory West, Hackney Wick totalling 20,000 sq ft.

Global Holdings Management Group – Advising on the marketing and subleasing of offices at 100 Grays Inn Road, WC1 to a variety of occupiers.

HB Reavis – Advising on the development design, marketing and leasing of 33 Central, EC4 totalling 227,000 sq ft.

Boultbee Brooks – Advising on the marketing and leasing at 126 Back Church Lane, E1 totalling 25,000 sq ft to Diabetes UK.

Axa and Blackrock – Advising on the marketing and leasing of 6 Bevis Marks, EC3 totalling 170,000 sq ft to a variety of occupiers.

J.P.Morgan – Advising on subleasing of City portfolio totalling 1 million sq ft, including 20 Moorgate, EC2, 125 London Wall, EC4, 10 Aldermanbury, EC2 and Finsbury Dials EC2 to a variety of occupiers. Also advised on subleasing of 5 Churchill Place, E14 totalling 340,000 sq ft.

Citi – Advised on marketing and subleasing at 25 Canada Sq, E14.

Westfield – Advising on the marketing and leasing of 1 Stratford Place, London E20 totalling 130,000 sq ft to a variety of occupiers.

Minerva – Advising on the marketing and leasing of The Walbrook Building, EC4 totalling 440,000 sq ft and The St Botolph Building, EC3 totalling 530,000 sq ft. Successful lettings included Clyde & Co and JLT.

Mitsubishi Estate Company – Advising on the development design, marketing and leasing of Bow Bells House, EC4 totalling 160,000 sq ft to Bank of Ireland and Aberdeen Asset Management.

Delancey – Advising on the development design and marketing of Westminster Place, SE1 totalling 340,000 sq ft. The site was subsequently sold to Urbanest.

Heron – Advising on the marketing and leasing of 110 Bishopsgate, EC2 totalling 440,000 sq ft to a variety of tenants.

Kirsh – Advising on leasing the 5th floor at 30 Old Broad St, part of The Tower 42 Estate.

Examples of acquisitions and restructuring:

Mindbody – Advising on acquisition of their new London office totalling 9,400 sq ft at 1 New Change, EC4.

Thomson Reuters – Advising on their European account including acquisitions, disposals and lease renewals including Aldgate House, EC3 totalling 75,000 sq ft and consolidation of offices into the Johnson Building, EC1 totalling 46,000 sq ft.

Bevan Brittan LLP – Advising on lease acquisitions and restructuring of leases at Fleet Place House, EC4 totalling 36,000 sq ft.

Banco do Brasil – Advising on acquisition of 17,000 sq ft at Pinners Hall, Old Broad St, EC2.

Examples of Sales and Purchases:

HB Reavis – Advising on the sale of 33 Central, EC4 totalling 227,000 sq ft to Wells Fargo. The deal signed post Brexit announcement and ahead of completion.

Mitsubishi Estate Company – Advising on the purchase of 50% joint venture with Legal & General at Central Saint Giles, a mixed use development of offices, retail and residential totalling 675,000 sq ft.

BP – Advising on surrender of leases and back to back sales of Finance House, EC2 and D’Arcy House, EC4.
