Real Estate Apprenticeships

We believe apprentices are great for business and we’re pleased to offer full-time apprenticeships for entry level individuals looking for a career in surveying, planning or business services.

It’s a great opportunity attract high quality candidates whom we can offer both on and off the job support to, leading you to a professional qualification.

We look for positive and proactive apprentices with good organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong communications skills and most importantly a can-do attitude and a desire to learn.

An apprenticeship requires a commitment from both you as an individual and us, since depending on the apprenticeship, it may take anywhere between one and five years.

Should we have any vacancies, applications can be made via the gov.uk website here.

Administration and Business Services Apprenticeships

We offer Administrative Apprenticeships in both the firm’s fee earning and business services business groups. Currently, we have Administrative Apprentices in the Facilities Team, the ICT Team and within the Administrative Teams of the fee earning business groups.

As an Administrative Apprentice, you will develop a range of transferrable skills through on-the-job training and experience of working in a professional environment as you work towards achieving your Business Administration NVQ Level 2 or Level 3.

Level 3 RICS Surveying Apprenticeships (2 years)

We offer individuals the opportunity to achieve a Surveying Technician qualification, the equivalent of A Levels, via the University College of Estate Management (UCEM) and supported by the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust (CSTT). Over the course of the apprenticeship, you will develop your technical, interpersonal and behavioural skills, as well as gain new knowledge and competence towards becoming a surveying technician.

Level 6 RICS Chartered Surveyor Apprenticeship (4-5 years)

Similar to the Level 3 RICS Apprenticeship, the Level 6 RICS Apprenticeship is also offered via the University College of Estate Management (UCEM) and supported by the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust (CSTT).

Within five years of leaving school, successful candidates will be fully chartered surveyors. This apprenticeship will award you with an RICS accredited BSc (Hons) Real Estate Management degree. The degree is taught via online study with occasional one day classroom based workshops.

Your work will be assessed via a variety of methods from essays, reports, tests, exams and work bases assessments. The end point assessment will include RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC), providing you with a MRICS Chartered Surveyor status.

The entry requirement for the Level 6 Apprenticeship will typically be A Levels (96 UCAS tariff points) or an Extended Level 3 BTEC in Construction or property related discipline.

I have found my apprenticeship with Gerald Eve extremely rewarding. Despite it being hard work, it’s very enjoyable and rewarding. During my apprenticeship I have been exposed to a lot of experiences that I would have never had at university, which have helped put the textbook theory into context and developed my understanding as a result.
