I am a Partner in the firm’s Operational Real Estate team based in the West End. I specialise in the licensed and leisure property sector.

Over the past twenty-five years I have advised operators, investors and owners of various types of leisure property on valuation, lease consultancy, agency, rating and asset management. My range of experience spans pubs, restaurants, hotels, conference venues, cinemas, bingo clubs, casinos, motorway service areas and crematoria.



  • Valuation of Whitbread’s freehold pub restaurant and hotel assets valued more than £4bn. Valuation of Greene King’s securitised estate comprising 904 pubs valued at £834m, a Tap valuation of 1,705 pubs at £1.7bn and a further Tap valuation of 2,035 pubs at £2.1bn.
  • Loan security valuations of tenanted/leased pubs for secured lending purposes on behalf of HSBC and Barclays, valued in excess of £40m. Loan security valuations of more than 2,000 tenanted/leased pubs acquired by Admiral Taverns in packages, valued in excess of £750m. Loan security bank valuations of various hotel/conference venues for more than £65m.
  • Valuation of Moto’s network of motorway and trunk road service areas valued more than £1bn for the purpose of vendor due diligence in connection with the sale of the business. Due diligence and valuation advice on behalf of M3 Capital Partners relating to their acquisition of Swayfields ‘Extra’ service station assets from Lloyds Banking Group for in excess of £200m. Due diligence and valuation advice on behalf of Antin Infrastructure Partners throughout their acquisition of Roadchef for in excess £350m.
