Callum is a Partner in our Capital Markets department based in central Manchester.  He specialises in investment property acquisition and disposal.  He also has worked with a number of developers to deliver speculative or pre-let developments and is also involved in a number of consultancy projects which have involved property footprint rationalisation.

Specific experience

This relates to having a deep understanding of our Clients property investment requirements and return hurdle rates.  We have worked on a number of projects in the following sectors; office, retail, industrial, leisure, student housing, hotels and shopping centres.  Clients include; BP Pension Fund, LaSalle Investment Management, Northern Trust, Jolivet Investment Management.

Excellent understanding of the property market cycles allows us to pick the optimum point in the commercial property market to dispose of an asset. We pride ourselves on the volume of due diligence that is undertaken prior to a property being disposed of, which reduces transaction risk and allows sales to complete in the desired timescales.  Clients include; Harbert, BP Pension Fund, Pochin Developments and Rumney Manor.

Development Advisory & Financing
The team has an excellent working relationship with the development community within the North West and has been involved in some sizeable development projects in the following sectors; industrial, leisure, student housing and hotesl.  Clients include; Chorley Borough Council, Worthington Properties, Standard Life, BP Pension Fund, Glenbrook Developments and Northwood.

Portfolio Strategy
Advising on strategy of when to dispose or acquire portfolios of assets to optimise price in-line with current occupational and investment cycles.  Clients include; The Northern Trust, OMC Investments, MAG Properties and Jolivet Investment Management.

Footprint Optimisation
Provided a strategic review for both operational estate, reviewing the occupational costs and where there could be cost savings within the portfolio. We have undertaken this strategy for a number of clients including; LDC, Total Fitness, Wates Group and Bristow.
