My experience includes Red Book valuations for numerous purposes including loan security, financial reporting, Capital Gains Tax, Charities Act valuations, site viability valuations and purchase and sale advice. I have valued power stations, renewable energy sites including solar and battery, as well as energy development land.

I provide estates management to energy clients, providing strategic consultancy for large scale development projects, including agency and investment advice, supporting the transition to net zero.

My key clients include EDF Energy, Eggborough Power Station, Horizon, the Canal and River Trust, Tower Hamlets Council and the City of London Corporation.

I am also part of Gerald Eve’s Sustainability Team responsible for the development and implementation of our internal strategy (net zero by 2025 and carbon negative by 2030); as well as our external strategy – ensuring we provide market leading, proactive advice in relation to sustainability.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

• Valuation of a portfolio of land around nuclear power stations – I conducted a UK wide portfolio valuation of over 2,000 acres for internal accounting purposes. The final value was in excess of £70million.
• Strategic advice – I advised a client on future strategy in relation to two substantial energy sites.
• Solar Lease – I let an area of land for solar development increasing the value of the site and driving significant value for the client.
• Repurposing of brownfield sites – I have supported the transformation of old power stations from fossil fuels to clean energy.
• Environmental Impact Report – publication of our first of our first Environmental Impact Report demonstrating a reduction in carbon emissions of 27% from our baseline; as well as our Climate Change Action Plan which outlines how we plan to further reduce our emissions in the future.
