Gordon Clements

I began my career with Bank of Scotland in Glasgow before moving to the north west of England initially to Manchester but located for significant periods in both Liverpool and Chester too. In 2012, I joined Santander Corporate before taking up my current role in August 2020 with Gerald Eve Corporate Finance based mainly in the Manchester and Glasgow offices.

For the majority of my career, I’ve been involved with corporate real estate clients providing the debt required by them – I have significant experience in funding development schemes including offices, retail units, residential apartment blocks and industrial asset classes. The investment assets funded by me includes offices, hotels, industrial units, retail schemes and residential. Over time, this has included a number of fund management platforms. The debt quantum has ranged from £1m to £250m. Many developments funded by me are evident in the north west of England.

I act for a range of clients including SME property developers/house builders and SME property investors including owner managed businesses needing to fund its own real estate assets.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

Since August 2020, I’ve introduced a house builder to a lender resulting in a £24m development facility being put in place to assist with a 109 unit scheme. An 85 unit scheme is about to be credit approved with a bridging loan for land without planning about to be drawn (as at January 2021).
