I’m a Partner in our Lease Exit department, based in the West End. I specialise in lease end matters throughout the UK including dilapidations, conditional breaks, lease liability provisioning and lease surrenders.

I am a Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Building Engineer. I have wide experience of dilapidations and lease exit matters. Whilst my primary focus is occupier clients and minimising dilapidations liabilities, I have extensive experience acting for landlords so understand their perspective.

For occupiers, I provide strategic advice around lease exit strategy including anticipated dilapidations assessments, dilapidations negotiations and advising on conditional lease breaks.

For landlords, I am experienced in preparing and negotiating a schedule of dilapidations on a wide range of properties.

My key clients include occupiers such as Towergate Underwriting Group, Cambridgeshire County Council, Instant Managed Offices, Engie and WH Smith. My landlord clients include City of London Corporation, Howard De Walden Estates, Grosvenor Estate, Christ Hospital and Harmsworth Pensions Funds Trustees Ltd.



  • Towergate Underwriting Group  – I managed all dilapidations provisioning, strategy advice and negotiations covering Towergate’s nationwide portfolio including office, retail and industrial premises.
  • Cripps Pemberton Greenish Solicitors – I provided break compliance and strategic dilapidations advice to one of the country’s leading legal practices regarding the consolidation of its Tunbridge Wells occupational portfolio.
  • City of London CorporationI was involved in the dilapidations schedule preparation, negotiation and settlement negotiations on numerous properties across the City of London Corporation’s portfolio.
