John is a Senior Associate in our Building Consultancy team based in our London West End office. He has acted on behalf of a range of clients including the Environment Agency, MOD, Church Commissioners for England, Birkbeck College, China Construction Bank, Citi Bank, Lloyds Bank, TH Real Estate, Canada Life, Cornerstone Real Estate, CBRE Global Investors, UBS, Legal and General, DTZ Investors and RBS.
John has developed a particular emphasis in project roles, managing and coordinating portfolios of instructions for clients. These include the contract administration of refurbishment and fit out work and the coordination of other instructions across a number of sites.
Project Management & Contract Administration – agreeing client brief and budgets, preparation and coordination of tender documentation, competitive tendering, preparation of contract documentation, warranties and formal appointments, administration of the terms of the contact and management of the client budget.
King’s College School, Wimbledon – project management of the development of the £6million multi-use three-storey extension, incorporated in to the 19th and 20th century surrounding buildings within a conservation area
4-8 Whites Grounds – internal and external refurbishment of a four-storey office building, including installation of a feature canopy to the main entrance, refurbishment of the main reception, common parts stairwells and WCs and the Cat A refurbishment of the second floor office
142-144 St John Street – refurbishment of the internal reception and common parts including the WCs
73 St James Street – roof renewal and external repairs and redecoration to a Grade II listed residential property while the building remained occupied throughout the works
Project Monitoring – identification of risks and provision of advice in respect of development projects that the client is acquiring an interest in but does not have direct control of.
