Leo Nicholson



I’m a Partner in our Capital Markets department based in Manchester. I have over ten years’ experience in commercial real estate and specialise in real estate brokerage and property transactions.

I graduated from Reading University in 2007 and started my career at Drivers Jonas which merged to become Deloitte Real Estate, moving across to join the team here at Gerald Eve in 2016. I provide acquisition/disposal advice, financial modelling and analysis to a variety of private equity funds, institutions, overseas investors and property companies. I have experience working across all major property sectors with a focus on the North west and Manchester markets.

I advise a wide range of clients on the disposal and acquisition of commercial property assets across the UK as well as providing wider portfolio and asset strategy advice to other companies and organisations. My clients include Clearbell, Knight Frank Investment Management, Santander, LaSalle Investment Management, Jolivet, Regional Reit, NHS and OMC Investments.



  • Norfolk House, Manchester – I advised on the acquisition of a 55,000 sq ft multi-let Manchester city centre office building on behalf of Knight Frank Investment Management for £19.105m reflecting net initial yield of 6.02%.
  • 76 King Street, Manchester – I advised HPPUT on the off-market acquisition of a prime 41,000 sq ft multi-let, mixed use property in Manchester for £18.25m.
  • Kelvin Close, Birchwood – I advised on the disposal of a single-let business park office building let to Hewlett Packard for in excess of £6.0m on behalf of Regional Reit.
