Nia is a Partner in our Planning and Development team having joined Gerald Eve as a Chartered Town Planner and Associate in 2012 following six years with Hepher Dixon and five years with Savills.

She has extensive planning experience acting for a wide range of clients. She frequently leads multi-disciplinary project teams and has particular expertise with large, often complex, mixed-use developments within Greater London as well as working for Institutions and HEIs.

She has a thorough understanding of planning matters affecting the London property market and well established connections with officers of the London local planning authorities as well as with the GLA.

Specific experience

Major Regeneration Schemes – high density complex redevelopment schemes throughout Greater London including heritage, land use policy and environmental issues including Deptford Wharves (City and Provincial), Shepherd’s Bush Market (Orion Land and Leisure), 250 City Road (Berkeley Homes).

Residential – developments throughout Greater London involving issues such as affordable housing, residential mix and various amenity issues including 250 City Road (Berkeley Homes).

Education – Strand Campus masterplan for King’s College London and ongoing advice in respect of their wider masterplan. Delivery of five secondary schools as part of LB Lewisham’s BSF programme.

Institutions – significant development proposals for The Royal Albert Hall and The Royal Opera House.

Office – large scale central London office development including redevelopment of former Guardian HQ, 119 Farringdon Road (Viridis Real Estate).

Hotel and leisure development – Central London hotels for Premier Inn and Hilton.

Student – substantial student accommodation schemes throughout Central London for Urbanest.

Heritage – proposals involving listed buildings and conservation areas throughout London.
