Nick Ogden

I joined the real estate industry in 2002, working at Drivers Jonas and then Deloitte before joining Gerald Eve in 2016. I have worked within Capital Markets since 2004, principally focussing on UK Business Space and Portfolios. I took on the leadership role of the Industrial & Logistics team within Capital Markets in 2017.

I advise a broad range of clients including private equity, institutions, REITs, property companies, developers and banks in the UK. More recently, key clients have included Goldman Sachs for transactional and mezzanine finance underwriting, Aberdeen Standard Investments, Prologis and Lloyds Banking Group on transactional agency, and Daily Mail Pension Group for Investment Advisory.

MY RECENT PROJECTS

• Libra Portfolio – I managed the sale of the Libra Portfolio (£42.5m) on behalf of DTZ Investors which comprised five multi-let industrial estates in England.
• Aston Student Village, Birmingham – I led the disposal of a £227m modern, well situated student village with over 3,000 rooms on behalf of Lloyds Banking Group and Deloitte. This was the largest ever single-asset student accommodation sale in the UK.
• UPS Last-Mile Depot, Kentish Town, London – I led the sale of this unique Zone 2 London parcel delivery depot on behalf of Harmsworth Pooled Property Unit Trust for £62m, which was double the valuation. The sale was complicated by two superior interests in the land.
