I’m an Associate in our Specialist and Residential department based in the West End. I specialise in providing valuation, estate strategy and acquisitions and disposals advice on educational, healthcare and other institutional and operational properties, with a focus on student accommodation.

My experience has focused on Red Book Valuations of student accommodation and educational properties for loan security, accounts, estate strategy, acquisition and disposal purposes. I specialise in D1 and C2 property including schools, colleges, places of worship and supported living. I also specialise in advising charities and religious orders on compliance with The Charities Act.

My clients include Barclays (I advise on loan security valuations of educational properties, including student accommodation.), The English Province of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd CIO (I provide strategic, valuation and disposal advice and Charities Act compliance), City of London Corporation –(I undertake valuations of educational property and social housing for internal management and accounting purposes) and Triple Point (I provide valuation reports for the purchase of supported living assets across the UK).



  • Student accommodation – Renslade House, Exeter – I provided a loan security valuation to refinance a newly constructed student accommodation building providing 268 studios. We previously provided a valuation in relation to development finance when the property was under construction.
  • Charities- St Euphrasia’s Convent, Blackley – I provided valuation and strategic advice on a potential disposal and in compliance with the provisions of the Charities Act.
  • Supported living schemes- London Road, Essex – I provided valuation advice on five new build houses which are to be used to provide supported living accommodation for 20 users. The properties were to be purchased with a 25 year lease in place with a Registered Provider.
